Teamther app. to assist human resources and recruitment uses Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML), to automatically analyze, screen, and score CVs. Its goal is to quickly and objectively identify the best-matched candidates for a specific job description, significantly reducing the manual effort for HR teams.

The Teamther’s app performs several steps:

  1. Job Analysis: Analyzes the job description to identify key requirements, skills, qualifications, education and experience levels.
  2. Resume Parsing: Extracts and structures all relevant data from the CV (e.g., work history, skills, education) into an analyzable format.
  3. Matching Algorithm: Compares the parsed data against the job requirements using sophisticated matching algorithms (beyond simple keyword checks to understand context).
  4. Scoring and Ranking: Assigns a relevance score to the CV based on the strength of the match, ranking candidates from best to least fit.

A score from 0 to 100 is determined by the relevance of the candidate’s profile to the specific Job Description provided. The app scores based on factors like required skills, years of experience, educational qualifications, and keyword match density. It’s possible to include languages and location within the evaluation.

You can upload CVs individually or in bulk.
Supported formats include PDF (Readable-PDF, DOCX, Doc)

You simply paste the Job Title and Job Description (JD) into the system when creating a new screening project. The AI automatically parses the JD to identify critical and desirable criteria. You can still adjust the results and also manually adjust the weighting of the main different criteria, mainly: Work Experiences (E), Education (D) and Skills (S).

Teamther’s scoring is highly accurate in matching a job profille requirements against CVs of candidates. We still recommend using the score to identify the top 10-20% of candidates for human review. It significantly reduces the manual sorting time, but it does not replace the final human decision.

We are committed to minimizing bias. Our AI model is designed to ignore “Protected Class” information like gender, age, race, or irrelevant personal details. It scores strictly on merit, skills, education and experience as defined in the Job Description. However, human bias from the original content of the Job Description can still influence the outcome.

Yes. In the job profile settings, you can instruct the AI to completely ignore or anonymize specific sections. We usually recommend to ignore irrelevant work experiences from more than 20 years ago, irrelevant seminars, trainings and workshops attended for less than 5 days.

Yes. When you set of job profile, the AI attempts to categorize skills. You can further customize this in the job profile settings by prioritizing them. Same for languages if required.

Absolutely. For every candidate, the application provides also detailed report. This report highlights the sections that contributed most to the score, and sections not contributing with a side-by-side comparison of the CV against the Job Description.

No, the app. does not make final hiring decisions or automatically reject candidates. It is designed as a prioritization tool that provides a score and a shortlist. Human judgment and review of the top-ranked candidates remain an essential part of the recruitment process. Nevertheless the app. identifies and flags a document which is not a CV (an email, a cover letter, or and other documents not considered as a cv).

The Free Plan is designed for human resources and users to test the core functionality of teamther. It includes: CV data extraction, Core AI relevance scoring, and the ability to define requirements using manhy Job Description.

The Free Plan allows you to upload and screen a limted amount of CVs, intended for evaluation and low-volume use only.

You can upgrade anytime your package. As long as you subscription period is valid, and subscription extended, remaining and unused volume of screening will be cumulated with the new susbcription, with adjustment of the period (monthly or yearly subscription).

Yes. You can export the full list of candidates, their scores, and key extracted data points (e.g., total experience, primary skill set) as a Excel file or PDF with the option to customize the report with your organization details and logo.
